Back in JB now. Friends spent over an hour queueing up to get their passports cleared at Malaysian customs; embarrassing. Can't the government get its act together? Anyway, had a great dinner at Daiman and it came up to only S$6 per person for three crayfish, two crabs, stingray and lots of other stuff. Also did the usual rounds at Holiday Plaza. Got Ghost World and The Deep End, as well as picked up Yi Yi from my brother. Looking forward to watching those.

Sunday went to pray to my grandma at this house that doubled as a temple, as well as drove around. I miss driving a lot, and they just built a highway next to my place. Went around familiarising myself again, particularly to Holiday Plaza and Daiman.

TIme to log out and head back. Hate the jams, and waiting.

Happy Birthday Kevin! So how did you like the surprise? ;)

Headed back to JB this afternoon. Should be back tomorrow. Hope there's no jam.
Mp3 download of the day. Tori Amos version of The Cure's Lovesong. She could sing a dictionary.
Lamb - Gorecki. Right-click to download and save.
Listening to stuff from the new Ben Folds album. Guess there's only one of him now. One of the funniest guys in rock music today.
Finally finished Diablo 2 with a Druid (34th level). Stocked up on full rejuvenation potions and just used them like water while battling Ba'al. (The Bear I summoned decided to take a stroll and disappeared from the fight.) And of all the runes/jewels/gems I gathered, in the end I only used one; a lighting rune. Hardly worth all that trouble.

Ok now I have my life back... Not a bad game, but too much mouse clicking. I don't see why people would want to play nightmare and hell after that; after all, it's the same bunch of quests. I can't imagine going through all that again. Once is definitely enough.

Didn't know I had the short three minute version of Gorecki, and now I have the full six minute version. It is a pretty darn cool song. Chills you to the bone.
Yet another one... very very scary.
Another two friends got retrenched. The carnage is just remarkable. Many more still desperately looking; quite a bloody market out there.

The Onion: Remembering 9/11 in it's own way.
Spaced Penguin: Level 1 and 2 are easy, but once you get to level 3 and beyond.... that's when the fun begins!
Well Jo has his ROM. An hour and a half of waiting and five minutes of ceremony. Kind of an assembly line approach; right after the solemnization the official speaks into a mike to ask the next couple to come in. ROM was stuffed with people, and they're redone it so the waiting space outside the rooms are more photo-friendly. Hope my camera works okay; it had some problems initially. (So if there's some out of focus pics, Jo, sorry!)

Two pieces of good news. I'm going to be an uncle (my mom should be happy) and of course, today, Jo gets his ROM! Hope my camera works fine. Haven't really used it since getting it back from the shop.

Oakland A's are in the playoffs! Woohoo! You'll have to follow baseball to know. Good start to the week.
