Apt mate just told me he'll start looking for a replacement. Sounds like he's really worried after losing his job. Sigh ah well.. another dotcom casualty.
Guys with straight hair going for curly locks and those with curly hair going for straight? Well I definitely know I won't redo my hair, but I do wish I had straight hair. Easier to handle.
Downloaded all the Thompson Twins songs I knew... Cheesy but works.
Hmm... wonder how some ppl tahan eating on a street with cockroaches and rats running around. Even the streets in Saigon and Hanoi weren't as bad as the taohuey place we went after pool.
How could I let you become everything?

Red Letter Day always has great song reccomendations. Latest: Photobooth by Death Cab for Cutie.

And as the summers ending,
The cold air will rush your hard heart away
You were so condescending:
And this is all that's left.
The empty bottles, spent cigarettes
So pack a change of clothes 'cause it's time to move on.
Bunch of colleagues at my old company got retrenched today, including my apartment mate. Not good news. Just kinda sucks majorly.

Got to cut down on my mobile phone bills. Exceeded both my SMS and local calls. Pain pain.

Shonen Knife, give me strength.
Anybody remember Family Ties? Apparently the guy teaching the class I'm going for is the dad of Justine Bateman who played Mallory opposite Michael J. Fox. So now I moved a few degrees closer to Kevin Bacon..
I'm in the sky tonight,
There I can keep by your side
Watching the wide world riot and hiding out
I'll be coming home next year

You know the song.
Funny blog quote:
2) I have become a loveless cynic. My (current) sole criteria for marriage material, is that I be able to stand making breakfast for him every morning and sharing a blanket with him every night. I've even gone so far as to shortlist names whom I can probably count on to marry if I'm still single ten years down the line, at the ripe old age of 27.
Stuck to my head today. The Theme from the TV series Ed, Foo Fighter's Next Year. Getting it now but excruciatingly slow. There's an acoustic version but no luck getting it as yet. Mornings are a better time.

Man the course is taking a lot outta me. Homework and hours; I'm still highly dubious about the method of integrating products with characters. Anyway, we're supposed to write up a character and while everybody did 20-30ish Singaporean men, for some reason I chose to do a late twenties Hispanic American woman from Santa Barbara. I can't change midstream anyway, so I'm keeping her. My turn to read today, and people know how much I HATE reading out stuff.

Oh where did you sleep last night. A review of a book about Kurt Cobain.
I'd never put a picture of myself on my blog, but some people would do this... Did she just read this Salon article?

Imagine the start of the week is the beginning of a movie, and you need a song to start it off... My choice Shonen Knife's Daydream Believer. Perky enough.
Well the dives were good. Some embarassing times when I had forgotten some basics but think remembered enough. It was good to go into the water and be reasonably confident, as well as dismiss the initial fear I had. Stay calm, take it easy; best thing was being able to control buoyancy and floating just above reefs and looking at the inhabitants. There was a dangerous incident where the weather became choppy and we had trouble getting onto the boat.

Spent a lot of time eating and actually felt better than I have in a long time. But did get sunburnt on the trip back so better get the moisturizer out.
