Company just subscribed to Lexis-Nexis and it has Harpers, Sports Illustrated and New Yorker online. Guess I won't be subscribing to them. Really cool service.

Stayed back late at work to try out a gameshow. It could be quite a bit better. Had a lot of fun fooling around in between takes.

Treated Ros who's headed to the US to sharks fin at this Thai Village Sharksfin. Cost a bomb but I guess since I won't be seeing her awhile it's ok. She had to spurn the advances of another guy yesterday, and another guy who's "treading" but guess it's unlikely to happen since she's going off in two weeks time. Looks like I'm really broke for the upcoming month...

Had a scary moment yesterday where I almost stepped in front of a bus. The light had turned green and I was almost going to cross when this TIBS bus, ignoring the change, continued on like a lummox. It wasn't a very close call but close enough. Always, always, give some time before crossing. One tiny mistake and that would have been it.

Man I really have to dig myself outta bed today. Woke up last night during a storm which, as usual, killed the electricity again.

Now shower and to work. not even sure whether the bloody scriptwriting course is on today. They're bloody tardy.

Look like's Keat ship is coming in. An offer as a CD in KL and another possibly coming in for HK. Wonder what my life would be like if I pursued the copywriting path. He was bemoaning the fact that in Singapore he wouldn't ever make CD because of the Ang Moh mentality here; he wouldn't mind working here really, though the money in HK is better.

Well all the best for him. I hope Jen, his gf, doesn't get ditched to the side. She's put a lot into the r'ship, and sometimes she doesn't seem to know where it's going.

New tenant is going to be a English guy who does options trading at SIMEX. Took the room pretty quickly; I thought he would look around or think about it first. Ah well...
